Families are Forever

This weekend we were blessed to have family gather from near and far despite the heat to bless our Baby girl. Afterward we had a luncheon. Before sunday and the blessing though we had several family gatherings with my side as my sister amanada and her husband matt came up for the blessing. it was a lot of fun seeing everyone together. I felt so blessed as I watched all of my family interact with my daughter and I was so glad to know that she is very loved. My mom spent many hours working on her very beautiful blessing gown. Bretts mom spent several hours putting together the luncheon to help elivate the stress that I was feeling. Halina has gotten so big these past four weeks, I really have to stop in wonder that I actually gave birth to this beautiful sweet little angel. She looks so much like Brett and I couldn't help but take their pictures as they napped.( Since she's to small to hunt, that's one of their favorite things to do:)

  1. What a wonderful day that must have been! And her dress IS beautiful. You have a very talented mommy. I would love it if you would post more pictures! She's growing so quickly!

  2. Brad,
With tears in my eyes, I see these lovely pictures of you with your beautiful daughter, a precious and amazing gift! I find it so hard to understand why a young father would end the life of another precious gift, a beautiful wolf being and then brag about it. I cried when I saw the picture on the front page of the paper this morning. I was shocked, saddened and angered! There is no real reason to shoot a wolf in this part of the state except for the fun of it. Your daughter will never understand. Do you have pets? Do you not love animals as you love the other living beings in your life? The wolf is an important and necessary part of our North Idaho eco-system and there are barely enough to ensure the health of the packs. (They are susceptible to disease and inbreeding - the fish & game numbers are not agreed upon by scientists.) Please read the science about wolves. You have gravely offended me by being so public with your trophy. Thank you for reading.

  3. Brett,
I apologize for getting your name wrong. I am very upset and mistakenly typed Brad. It's hard to understand how someone who looks like such a loving family person could publicly brag about killing a beautiful non-game animal???
